As you may know, apb-announcement@ieee.org was launched. The ML was
originally intended for announcement of APB homepage updates. But I
believe that it would be beneficial to members of ComSoc AP community if
it is used to disseminate announcements of any other APB-related
business. The policy for the apb-announcement@ieee.org is given at the
end of this message.

The apb-announcements mailing list is meant for update announcements of
the APB homepage (www.comsoc.org/~apb) and IEEE COMSOC AP-related
business. The list is also used for AP meeting announcements & minutes,
AP Newsletter, conference announcements (sponsored, co-sponsored or
technical co-sponsored by ComSoc), call for papers, call for candidate
of AP Young Researcher Award, call for AP technical specialist database,
Announcement of DLT, announcement of ComSoc APB committees
Activities(Information Services, Meetings and Conference, Membership
Development, Chapter Coordinator, Technical Affairs, Special Liaison for
ComSoc Activities and other materials the AP director approved.
Please do not post chain letters, political discussions or requests for
donations. There are plenty of other, more appropriate forums for these
types of discussions and requests.
