Minutes of the EntNet meeting at Globecom 2003.

Date: December 3rd, 2003. Time: 6 PM.

Attendees: Shri, Pradeep, Vinay, Masayoshi, Lundy (actually missed the meeting, but arrived later for dinner and drink), Raouf, Doug, Samir, Gabe, Bhumip (in conference call), Gayle, Phyllis

 In general, we followed the agenda (see below).

1. Pradeep introduced the agenda, and the agenda was approved.
2. Gabe made report on the EntNet plans (8 sessions, SIP workshop, 4 tutorials, and paid tutorials) and the status of the preparations.
3. Samir presented the planning of SIP workshop and participating vendors. There was a discussion on how much to charge them for the vendor. Shri pointed out that Microsoft would be a good name to attract.
4. Gayle informed on marketing efforts (website, ComSoc exploder for CFP, fliers at ICC, NOMS)
5. Entnet TC elections: candidates for EntNet TC chair, TPC chair and secretary positions for the period 2004-2006.
6. Samir discussed the Healthcom 2003 report which was a success.
7. Pradeep on preparations for the Security and Network management Symposium at Globecom 2004, other supported conferences and JSAC special issue on “Recent Advancement on Enterprise Technologies and Applications”
