The
Grand Reunion
The
Grand Reunion will be promoted and organized as one event but in two venues:
ICC'02 in late April in New York City and Globecom'02 in November in Taipei.
IEEE ComSoc New York and Singapore staff will take the lead in close collaboration
with the Conference committees, chaired by Mark Karol (ICC) and Chi-Kuo
Mao (Globecom), the Asia Pacific Board, and others, reporting to the 50th
Anniversary Implementation Committee.
Current planning
includes an award ceremony and, of course, the conference banquet with
a program focused on the 50th anniversary. A special reception for IEEE
ComSoc Past Presidents, officers and other leaders is also planned.
