TechNav it, and have a good ride!

When you want to connect to the IEEE's universe of information, you don't Google it, you "TechNav it!"

Developed by IEEE volunteers, IEEE Technology Navigator (TechNav) is an amazing online vehicle to help us discover the most relevant engineering content in the IEEE's intellectual property resources in a quickest fashion.

Have you tried the new IEEE Technology Navigator yet? This powerful tool covers 8,645 topics. The information is organized by TechNav tags.  These tags are based on search terms from the IEEE Xplore digital library’s thesaurus. They are mapped to more than 50 IEEE societies and organizational units, as well as to industry sectors.

TechNav beta version was created in 2010 and got improved last year. The redesigned home page presents the topic areas in a more streamlined way. They can be navigated by industry topic (such as education, health care, or transportation) or by IEEE organization (like the IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Standards Association or IEEE Member and Geographic Activities). A mobile-friendly version of TechNav was also available on all mobile devices including smartphones and tablet computers.
