South Hall filled with more than 150 attendees to meet the ComSoc 3Ps (Past-President, President, President-Elect).
Byeong Gi Lee, the IEEE ComSoc President, began the IEEE Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Session by sharing the ComSoc 2020 vision, and aimed ComSoc to be the largest Society in IEEE in 2020. He shared the strategic plan (with GOLDen Triangle vision and Growth Engine vision), and encouraged the young members to actively participate ComSoc new initiatives and programs. He wants to empower the young leaders to build the ComSoc future by Innovation, Creation and New Thinking.
Vijay Bhargava, ComSoc President-Elect, supported President Lee’s vision, and will use all his resource to nurture and lead the young leaders to achieve the vision.
Doug Zuckerman, ComSoc Past-President, emphasized the value and benefit of active participation in ComSoc activities, programs, and meeting.
