The IEEE Global Communications Conference and ICC are the Communications Society's flagship conferences, with a full program of technical and professional activities spanning the entire range of hot topics in voice, data, image and multimedia communications.
True to its acronym, GLOBECOM has been located in many regions of the world, including Singapore, England, Brazil and several sites in the US and will be in Washington DC in 2007. It takes place annually, typically in November.
Material is presented in a program of technical sessions, tutorials, panel discussions, keynote speakers and workshops.
Like
ICC, GLOBECOM is evolving into a mall
of mini-conferences and workshops each focusing
on different specific topic areas within the broader
