Submission Procedure for Technical Papers

Before you proceed reading the following instructions, please note that proposals for Workshops, Tutorials, and Panels might have different requirements than technical papers. For details please read the information provided by the individual workshop websites. In case a particular workshop does not list specific requirements, please use the following formatting rules.

Before you submit your (technical) paper, take care the following basic rules are fulfilled:

  • Only PDF files are accepted
  • Your submission is supposed to not exceed 5 pages and must not exceed 6 pages. A sixth page will be subject to an additional page charge once your paper is accepted and published in ICC's processings.
  • Your submission must not use fonts smaller than 10 points
  • The submitted PDF file must embed all fonts.
Please use the stylesheet templates provided by IEEE to assure that your proposal is in line with our guidelines. If you are using neither Microsoft Word nor Latex, you can use the guidelines provided by a template file.

Once you assured that your paper is in line with the mentioned guidelines of IEEE, you can submit your paper using your account on the EDAS system. In case you do not have an account yet, follow the instruction on the first page on the EDAS system to create one. Using your account, log in and choose 'Submit paper' at the top of the page, then choose 'IEEE ICC 2009' and follow the instructions. If your upload was successful you will receive an email. Please assure that you select the symposia which fits best with the topic of your paper. The master track 'ICC 09' must not be used for any submission but only one of the following 11 symposia:

Submission Procedure for Workshop Papers

Workshop papers will also be submitted using EDAS. If not otherwise noted on the individual workshop website, all paper submissions to workshops must fulfill the same requirements as papers submitted to the conference's technical programme. The submission is done via EDAS by selecting the respective workshop which is listed under 'IEEE ICC 2009' (together with all technical symposia):

Submission Procedure for Tutorial Proposals

Once you assured that your proposals is inline with the requirements listed by the Call For Tutorials, you can submit your proposal using your account on the EDAS system. In case you do not have an account yet, follow the instruction on the first page on the EDAS system to create one. Using your account, log in and choose 'Submit paper' at the top of the page, then choose 'IEEE ICC 2009' and the the track 'ICC09 Tutorial Proposals'.
