Authors are invited to submit full papers reporting results, strongly substantiated by mathematical analysis, experiment, implementation, or simulation, in all areas of computer communications and networks; however, more qualitative exploration of important architectural issues is also encouraged. Some specific areas of interest are:

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

The first page of your paper should contain paper title, author name(s), complete address (telephone, fax, email) for all authors, indication of who is the corresponding author, abstract, followed by key words and optionally one or more areas of interest from the list above. The paper must:
  • be submitted in Postscript Version 2 or later
  • be limited to 20 pages excluding illustrations and no longer than 25 pages (including Figures, Tables and References)
  • be in Single column
  • be in Single or double space (up to the authors)
  • Fit properly on "US Letter" size paper (8.5x11 inches)
  • Reference only Computer Modern or standard Adobe printer fonts (i.e., Courier, Times Roman, or Helvetica); other fonts may be used but must be included in the PostScript file.
We strongly encourage electronic submission of manuscripts in Postscript format; detailed instructions are posted at http://www-test1.cs.columbia.edu/~hgs/infocom/1998. Hard copy submissions will still be handled on an exception basis, but require explicit permission from the Infocom'98 Technical Program Chair who can be reached at:

STUDENT GRANTS

You may qualify for a Student Travel Grant to defray some of your costs for presenting a paper at this conference. IEEE Communications Society will award a limited number of Student Travel Grants to full-time students who represent their accepted papers at INFOCOM '98. Detailed instructions for a student grant application will be posted on this site at a later date.
