New ComSoc online publication available!
ComSoc annnouces the first issue of the Society's newest online publication
e-Transactions on Network and Service Management (eTNMS). eTNMS is an introductory initiative for timely
electronic presentation of archival research on the management of networks, systems, services and applications,
as well as on issues in communications software, service engineering, policies and business processes for network
and service management. The first issue is available at http://www.comsoc.org/livepubs/etn/public/2004/apr/index.html

The first program was run on the EDSAC, Electronic Delay Storage Automatic Computer, In Cambridge, England,
at the Cambridge University Mathematical Laboratory.

8 May, 1893
Construction began on the Volta Bureau Building under the supervision of Alexander Graham Bell. This National Historic Landmark functioned as a center of information for deaf and hard of hearing persons
