ComSoc to Co-Sponsor ITU Standardization Event…IEEE Communications Society has been announced as technical co-sponsor of the International Telecommunication Union’s upcoming Innovations in Next Generation Networks event to be held in Geneva, Switzerland May 2008.

Question Writers Needed…. IEEE ComSoc is seeking subject matter experts in: RF Engineering, Propagation, and Antennas; Wireless Access Technologies; Network and Service Architecture; Network Management and Security; Facilities Infrastructure; or Regulatory Issues and Compliance.  Please complete a nomination form for yourself (or nominate others) to be considered as a question writer for the new IEEE ComSoc Wireless Communications Engineering Technology (WCET) Certification Program.  We will provide instructions and software tools this fall.  WCET certification is designed for engineers specializing in wireless communications with at least three years of experience as a practitioner. As a question writer, you will contribute to developing valid, job-related examinations for WCET certification. Complete the form here.
