Global Communications Newsletter - Call For Papers

GCN publishes short articles (usually from 300 to 1000 words) that inform the ComSoc community about the various activities that are carried out, organized, started in the four corners of the world by the many volunteers that are the engine of ComSoc Chapters.

Examples of suitable articles include, but are not limited to:

• highlights from ComSoc conferences, in particular but not exclusively conferences with regional scope;
• reports of most notable Distinguished Lecturer Tours;
• news from telecommunications regional industry or operators, e.g. about the deployment of new technologies or services;
• reports of technical events organized by ComSoc chapters, but of international interest.

One or two figures (photos or graphs) may be also included.

Technical papers or even technical surveys are not suitable for publication on GCN. Such papers should be submitted to IEEE Communications Magazine. In case of doubt, please contact the Editor bregni [at] elet [dot] polimi [dot] it (Stefano Bregni).

Articles may be submitted directly to the Editor bregni [at] elet [dot] polimi [dot] it (Stefano Bregni) or to the most appropriate Regional Correspondent.

The format of submission should be an email including title and article attached (DOC or TXT).
