June 21, 2004: Yesterday in Paris, France during ICC, ComSoc hosted its second Global Sister Society Summit chaired by Naohisa Ohta, Director – Sister Societies, and Nim Cheung, Vice President – Society Relations Council. Several ideas were presented on how to enhance sister-society relationships and ways to exchange and disseminate information.

During the afternoon, CIEE (Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering) and SEE (Société de l Electricité, de l Electronique et des Technologies de l Information et de la Communication) renewed their agreements with the Communications Society. Present for the signing ceremony were Curtis Siller, President – Communications Society, Yumin Lee representing CIEE, and Michel Bon signing for SEE.
