- IEEE
Communications Society conferences, workshops, and
Technical Committees provide you with countless
opportunities to work alongside the industry's top
experts. Every year, the IEEE Communications Society
sponsors several major conferences that you can
attend at reduced member rates. There are a limited
number of Student Travel Grants awarded to help
graduate electrical engineering students offset
some of the costs of traveling to these events.
The Society also sponsors numerous symposia, workshops
and local meetings worldwide - giving you the opportunity
to be a part of the latest developments in your
field and network with the leaders who are changing
the world of communications.

Society supports more than 100 active chapters throughout
North America and internationally - again providing
you access to information and people you may not
otherwise reach.
- Through
IEEE Communications Society Regional Committees
and Regional Offices, members anywhere in the world
can learn how to take advantage of these and other
Educational Services activities and Awards and Scholarships
that provide you with the chance to learn, person-to-person,
