Quarterly series in IEEE Communications Magazine

      The Optical Communications series is issued quarterly in IEEE Communications Magazine. Its focus is on topics in the area of optical communications that include but are not limited to the design, implementation, and testing of optical networks, systems, and components as well as their applications. This series is the premier place for quality articles in the field of optical communications to reach a large number of audiences in the field of communications, and in particular, the field of optical communications.
      IEEE Optical Communications invites manuscript submissions addressing the topics of:

      Submitted papers should be written for a wide international audience in optical communications at a level suitable for the practicing engineer. The total length of published papers should not exceed 4,500 words. In addition, papers should not contain more than six to eight graphics/tables/photographs, and no more than 20 references. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.
      All submissions should contain each author's full name, affiliation, mail and email addresses, as well as telephone and fax numbers, and each author's short biography.
