Submission Guidelines for Authors
Feature Article Information
- Articles should be tutorial in nature and should be written in a style comprehensible to readers outside the specialty of the article. However, papers presenting original contributions will also be considered, as long as the presentation is accessible and the paper length is kept within the appropriate limits. Papers presenting detailed contributions should rather be submitted to some other journal (e.g., IEEE Transactions).
- Mathematical equations should be sparingly used to help the reader in understanding better what is being explained. Complicated equations are to be avoided.
- References should be included only to guide readers to more information on the topic; the reference list should not include every available souce (a limit of ten references is recommended. The inclusion of more than 15 references requires permission from the Editor-in-Chief). References to Web pages should not be used in a printed version of the article except for very justified cases and Web sites with a proven staiblity, e.g., such as IEEE Communications Surveys
- Articles should not exceed 4500 words. Figures and tables should be limited to a combined total of six.
