Technical Committees

Our technical committees define and implement the technical directions of the Society. As a fundamental element of the Society all members are invited - and encouraged - to participate in one or more of its technical committees. These committees - networks of professionals with common interests in communications - usually meet twice a year at major conferences.

Technical Committees (TCs) are grouped into four Clusters to better coordinate the activities of TCs; avoid overlapping/conflicts in TC mission charters, areas of interest and Conference/Workshops/Symposia organization; obtain a more direct link to the Meetings & Conferences Committee; and to ease interaction between the Vice President - Technical Activities and the TCs.
