Welcome!

The Communication Theory Technical Committee (CTTC) of the IEEE Communications Society promotes information exchange and dissemination in the broad area of Communication Theory, with emphasis on applications to practical systems. The areas of interest to the Committee are the analytical, theoretical, simulation, experimental, and practical aspects of many diverse areas that include  modulation, coding (channel coding including forward error control, coded modulation, and turbo coding), synchronization, equalization, signal processing for communications (interference cancellation, blind adaptive algorithms, diversity and array processing for wireless channels), transmission over all media (copper, coax, fiber, wireless, satellite, deep space, and storage channels), source coding (lossless and lossy data compression, speech, audio, image, and video coding), spread spectrum, multiple access, data communications, multimedia transmission, information theory, and communication networks.

Next Meeting:

At the 2008 ICC in Beijing, China, May 2008. The meeting time and location will be announced in the future.
