The DS representative is selected by the TCDS officers to represent the TC on the technical program committee (TPC) of each ICC or Globecom. An DS representative is responsible for:

• attending TPC meetings, typically held at two prior ICC and Globecom 
• submitting proposals for sessions, workshops and tutorials to the conference TPC 
• organizing technical sessions at the conference by sending out separate call for papers and selecting reviewers 
• organizing joint technical sessions with other TCs.
