Science Institute in Berkeley, and also a staff computer scientist
at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
His research
focuses on Internet measurement, network intrusion detection,
and large-scale Internet attacks. He serves on the editorial
board of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, chairs the Internet
Research Task Force, and has been active in the Internet Engineering
