Best Tutorial Paper Award

Yoram Bernet is an architect in Microsoft's Windows group. During the past five years, Yoram led Microsoft in the development of its QoS program. He played a leadership role in the QoS work of the IETF, authoring several related drafts. He is the author of the book "Networking Quality of Service and Windows Operating Systems". Before working on QoS, Yoram developed the network infrastructure for Microsoft's interactive TV system. Before Microsoft, Yoram worked at Bell Labs for ten years, where he developed graphics hardware, and later, communications software.

Yoram has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
