Best Tutorial Paper Award

Chatschik Bisdikian is from Thessaloniki, Greece, and holds a PhD in EE from the University of Connecticut. Since 1989, he has been a Research Staff Member at IBM's T. J. Watson Research Center. His work has focused on various aspects of personal, local, and metropolitan area networks. He is involved with the development of the Blue tooth specification and serves as the
vice-chair of the 802.15.1 task group that produced the IEEE 802.15.1 standard for WPANs.

He has served in the editorial boards of several publications, has authored over 85 publications, including the book "Blue tooth Revealed," and holds six patents.
