EntNet Charter
The Enterprise Networking committee will focus on
"end-to-end" networked solutions for enteprises. It will address end-user
needs, networked applications/ services, and their support based on
emerging products and enabling technologies.
Primary focus areas and examples of topics of interest to
this committee are:

including middleware for distributed processing systems,
client-serving computing, and distributed object computing.

Management of enterprise networks (e.g., configuration, fault,

management from an enterprise viewpoint. Techniques and methods

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and
Enterprise information resource management Evolutionary approach
to the deployment of new technologies and standards (e.g., handling

Business to Business and Business to Consumer Relations

Communications Society conferences such ICC and GLOBECOM and
publication in journals such as "IEEE Network" and the "IEEE/ACM
Transactions on Networking". It will also sponsor workshops and
symposia on Enterprise Networking. |
