TCCC may, upon request, decide to act as a in-cooperation sponsor of a
conference or workshop organized by another entity within the IEEE.
This type of sponsorship does not carry financial obligations for the
TCCC. A co-sponsored conference may be announced as such on the TCCC
web page.
The event to be sponsored should satisfy the following criteria:
- It should be of potential interest to TCCC members and fall within
the scope of the TCCC.
- It is preferable that the event has a proven track record and
reputation.
- It should have a well-organized reviewing structure following
standard procedures of quality control and accountability (e.g., TPC
with well-known members of the research community, multiple blind
reviews). If in doubt, the event seeking sponsorship should be prepared
to describe the technical program organization.
The TC chair recommends in-cooperation sponsorship to the
Communication Society [whom in particular?] after a "no-objection"
consultation with the other officers of the TC.
