Latin America/North America Region
Position Statement
ComSoc's role in our professional careers is crucial; a strong ComSoc helps us all. I am running for Member-at-Large for the Board of Governors so I can advance sensible polices within the society.
As a MAL for ComSoc, I would:
- Work within ComSoc to ensure sensible and responsible governance.
- Support the Society to create a vision, strategy and execution that is directed to the benefit the society, its volunteers, and its members.
- Ensure that ComSoc is promoting equity and inclusion among its members.
- Ensure that ComSoc is a welcoming place for qualified volunteers in publications and conferences.
I have effectively worked within ComSoc and the larger IEEE organization in leadership roles. If elected I will actively work to support a ComSoc that serves all its members well.
