The OpenFog Consortium and IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc) announce Fog World Congress 2017, the first conference to bring industry and research professionals together to explore the world of fog computing and networking. The three-day, interactive conference takes place October 30 to November 1 in Santa Clara, California.
Fog World Congress 2017 offers four tracks: industry applications, technology, research and an interactive experience. An exhibit area will showcase the latest offerings in fog computing by companies from around the world. Topics range from an introduction to fog computing to innovation in fog environments to technical elements and security considerations in fog and more. Keynote speakers include Michael Dolbec, who leads software venture investing for GE Digital and GE Ventures; Christian Renaud, Research Director of 451 Research's Internet of Things practice, and Hilton Romanski, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for Cisco Systems.
