Maode Ma (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, China, in 1999. From 2001 to 2020, he was a Professor with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently a Professor with the College of Engineering, Qatar University, Qatar. He has more than 200 international academic publications. He serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials and a Guest Editor for IEEE Communications Magazine and Computer Communications. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Communication Society. He is a fellow of IET.
