Robert Douglass co-founded and serves as Chief Technology Officer for Alta Montes, LLC, which specializes in defense and security applications of networked digital systems. Prior to Alta Montes, he co-founded SET Corporation and ObjectVideo, and held the position of Assistant Office Director for Information Systems at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). He has authored papers and patents on sensor systems, robotics, virtual reality, paleontology, and cyber security. He received the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Award for Outstanding Achievement. He has been a member of IEEE since 1971.
