2018 IEEE Communications Society Summer School

The 4th Edition will be held on 26-29 June 2018 at the ShanghaiTech University. The IEEE ComSoc Summer School is designed for young professionals, Ph.D. students, or recent graduates studying communications and related areas. It consists of lectures by international experts and includes poster presentations by participating Ph.D. students. The ComSoc Summer program traditionally covers fundamental, advanced and hot topics in communications. This year’s program will focus on “Fog Computing.”

Support will be provided for a limited number of students based on a competitive application. Selected students will be provided with free registration and meals for the 4 days of the event. Lodging will be reimbursed for selected students up to $58 per night and some travel expenses may be reimbursed for selected students as well. More details on travel reimbursement will be provided when application acceptance messages are distributed. Students from all over the world are accepted and welcome to participate.
