Dr. Przygienda started his involvement in data communications 40 years ago at IBM Research Lab in Switzerland where many of the foundations of modern high-speed Internet have been invented all the way up starting at the physical layer. He spent most of his career in the industry standardizing, implementing and inventing routing paradigms around different automation, computer and telephony network technologies. His path led him through Bell Labs, Ericsson and several successful startups to his current position as Distinguished Engineer at Juniper Networks where he helps the company to maintain and extend its position as one of the oldest and most established purveyors of equipment used world wide to provide IP connectivity.
