Dr. Bighnaraj is currently working as a Senior Standards Delegate at Nokia where his focus is on 5G/6G research and standardization in 3GPP. Prior to joining Nokia, he was part of TCS Research as a Senior Scientist. He has research experience of more than 15 years in different fields of wireless and NextGen networks. His area of interest lies mostly in Next-gen Wireless Networks such as 5G/6G, Intelligent Network Automation, Information-Centric Networks (ICN), Tactile Internet, and Metaverse. Dr. Bighnaraj completed his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi in the area of Wireless Communication and did his Postdoc from SDSMT, USA.
Dr. Bighnaraj is co-inventor of 50+ filed patents and has 40+ publications in reputed international conferences and journals. He is a senior member and member of IEEE and ACM, respectively. Dr. Bighnaraj is actively participating and contributing to 3GPP, IEEE, and TSDSI standardization activities.
